I’m a liberal, an egalitarian, a deconstructionist, an Outlaw Preacher, and a loudmouth. I want to be your friend...

I always wonder about the benefit of being a 'hyphenated' anything (Asian American, Indo Canadian, etc.). As long as there are non-hyphenated citizens, the hyphenated ones are somehow separate and definitely prone to being stereotyped.Of course, I am likely stereotypable as a Canadian (You know, polite, apologetic, back bacon eating, etc.) And you, Peter, as an American–well, don't get me started! But I admit, I have never had the kind of situation these guys are facing.
I hope I'm not the only one who thought of the Average Asian Mad TV sketch after watching this video.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYTbpCTphdc
