Now, I’m not comfortable making direct parallels to Christianity with the vid (I don’t think human beings are captive “voodoo dolls” being pricked by an anthropromorphized devil – and I’m not suggesting the filmmaker is saying that) but the Gospel is certainly a story of self-sacrifice for others.
